Martin Kratz (aka Meat)
For about 11 years now Martin Kratz has been affectionately known as “Meat.” Meat started catering and bussing tables as a 16 year old in Mt. Pleasant, and since has worked every position in just about every restaurant. He also volunteers by saving lives for Charleston Fire and Rescue, has built an airplane, and can build or fix anything. This is the guy you want with you if you ever end up on a deserted island.
Now Meat is 100% of our facilities department and is responsible for purchasing and fixing all restaurant equipment, designing and building all of our new restaurants, and maintaining the old ones. |

Holli Dearman
Holli has worked in about 20 of our 19 restaurants. Seriously, she jumps around more than my daughter in a jump castle.
When I think of Holli, I think about how she needed two perfect mystery shops in a row to get a $50 bonus. She nailed the first one, but missed the second one by 1 point because a manager brought out the wrong side dish. That happened in 1999. She still brings it up every time I see her. I think the $50 plus interest is now worth $1,239.34. |

Anna Meshaw
First, I'll explain the photo because Anna is not married. She posed for a catering photo shoot for us because we cater a lot of wedding rehearsal dinners and receptions. Things got out of hand. Pretty funny photo nonetheless.
Anna has worked with us in Atlantic Beach and Jacksonville since we first opened. She was just a high school senior when she interviewed. She stunk at waiting tables, but she sure did have a big mouth. So we made her a host. We're lucky to have her still making such a great first impression at the door.
Hopefully she'll be a manager soon, maybe running her own restaurant like Heather Bell, who started the same day as Anna and now runs our Hilton Head RibHouse (Anna looks up to Heather Bell like a big sister).

Sam Celia
Ask anyone around here and they will tell you that my career has been full of stupid ideas, costly mistakes and bad decisions.
Ten years later everyone still lets me off the hook. Why? Because I’m the one who found Sam Celia.
Sam started as a dishwasher shortly after we opened in Wilmington. After a few years he finally agreed to start training as a cook. Now he does it all. Sam has taken off every Saturday for the last 9 years to spend a day with his daughter, and he spends most nights playing guitar in one of many speed metal bands.
Sam is the hardest working, most dependable employee in Sticky history so far. Just remember who found him. |

Dave Lorenz
Todd, Chad and I might be the owners of Sticky Fingers, but we all answer to Dave Lorenz. Dave has pretty much taken over Sticky Fingers these days, and things have never run smoother, or been more fun.
Of course, he’s yet another Tennessee boy. Originally hired as a cook in 1998, Dave is now completely responsible for all purchasing, and all website and technical issues. Most importantly, he started our entire mail order and wholesale business from the ground up. There’s not much we do around here in which Dave isn’t involved.
Dave is an artist in his spare time, and, like everyone else around here, is a big-time Tennessee Vol fan. When South Carolina plays Tennessee in football every year, it gets very ugly in this office. |

Phil Allen
Phil is just about the most likable bartender you've ever met.
What do I like most about Phil? Laughs at all my jokes. My timing could be off or I could blow the punch line. No problem. Phil laughs. I guess he just gets me.
Phil is so legendary here at Sticky Fingers that we've named company-wide awards after him. The "Phil Award" is given out every year for the employee who best exemplifies discretion in dating a coworker. |

Michael McNeil
The name is Doc -- No one calls him Michael except his mom. Doc works as a bartender/cook/manager in our Mt. Pleasant, SC restaurant.
There's a story about Doc falling asleep in one of our restaurants about five years ago that I'm not allowed to tell. But if you're in the bar at Mt. Pleasant, ask Doc to tell you the story. It's a good one. |
